Basketball Recap: AuSable Valley Takes a Loss

AuSable Valley lost against Ticonderoga back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The AuSable Valley Patriots lost to the Ticonderoga Sentinels on the road by a 63-48 margin. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, AuSable Valley still got an impressive performance from Hayden Bombard, who posted 20 points in addition to seven boards and three steals. The dominant performance also gave Bombard a new career-high in three-point shooting accuracy (43%). Aiden Blaise was another key player, putting up eight points.

AuSable Valley's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Ticonderoga, they pushed their record up to 6-10 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, AuSable Valley will welcome Saranac Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Ticonderoga, they will be playing at home against Saranac at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
