Flag Football Game Preview: Carmel Padres vs. King City Mustangs + How To Watch

The Carmel Padres will head out to challenge the King City Mustangs at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Carmel's defense has only allowed 14.4 points per game this season, so King City's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Carmel took a loss when they played away from home last Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They walked away with a 20-12 win over Hollister. The Padres haven't had any issues with the Haybalers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, King City won against Watsonville on Monday with 12 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. The Mustangs managed a 12-6 win over Paso Robles.

Carmel's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for King City, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

Carmel came out on top in a nail-biter against King City in their previous matchup back in September, sneaking past 14-12. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Padres since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
