Basketball Recap: Whippany Park Comes Up Short

Whippany Park lost against Morristown-Beard back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Whippany Park Wildcats came up short against the Morristown-Beard Crimson, falling 69-48. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 291st, while the Crimson are ranked 67th).

Whippany Park's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Morristown-Beard, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-2 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Whippany Park will welcome Morristown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Morristown-Beard, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Pequannock at 7:00 p.m.
