Softball Recap: Sickles Takes a Loss

Sickles was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 7-4 to the Auburndale Bloodhounds.

Briana Browder and Kalyssa Austin did some serious damage despite the final result: Browder went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double, while Austin scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-2.

Sickles' loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Auburndale, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-7.

Sickles has already played their next match, an 8-1 defeat against Academy of the Holy Names on the 8th. As for Auburndale, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 15-3 loss against Tampa Catholic on the 8th.
