Soccer Recap: East Davidson Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, East Davidson was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They came up short against the Wheatmore Warriors, falling 6-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 last Monday.

East Davidson's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Wheatmore, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, East Davidson will welcome Lexington at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Wheatmore, they will challenge North Davidson at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Wheatmore is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 6 goals per game this season.
