Larkin is a perfect 10-0 against Aurora East since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Royals will be playing at home against the Tomcats at 4:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Larkin is headed into the game having just suffered their closest loss since May 22, 2024 on Monday. They fell just short of Bartlett by a score of 4-2. The Royals haven't had much luck with the Hawks recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Larkin saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaitlyn Neubert, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Ashley Hammond also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.

Meanwhile, Aurora East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Elgin, falling 15-6. On the bright side, the six- run effort marked the Tomcats' highest-scoring contest to date.

Aurora East's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Larkin, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Everything went Larkin's way against Aurora East in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Larkin made off with a 21-0 win. Will the Royals repeat their success, or do the Tomcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
