Recap: Midfield Patriots vs. Indian Springs Student
Midfield lost against Indian Springs last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Midfield Patriots fell 12-8 to the Indian Springs Student. Midfield has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Jaden Lightfoot made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole four bases while going 2-for-3. He has been hot recently, having posted three or more stolen bases the last eight times he's played. Jalen Lightfoot was another key contributor, going 3-for-3 with two stolen bases and two RBI.
Midfield's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Indian Springs, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Midfield will head out on the road to square off against Gaylesville at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Indian Springs, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Tarrant at 4:00 p.m. on April 5th.
