Cherokee Trail really took it to the Trailblazers for the full four quarters, racking up a 78-30 victory at home. Cherokee Trail has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 21 points or more this season.
Cherokee Trail got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Aaliyah Broadus out in front who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Broadus has scored all season. Damara Allen was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with eight rebounds.
Cherokee Trail pushed their record up to 17-2 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Overland, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-7 record this season.
Cherokee Trail will challenge the Bruins at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Cherry Creek will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak. As for Overland, they will be playing at home against the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
