Basketball Recap: Cypress Christian Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Cypress Christian lost against Fayetteville back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warriors came up short against the Lions, falling 70-47. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1190th, while the Lions are ranked 242nd).

Despite the loss, Cypress Christian still got an impressive performance from Charles Rizzutto, who went 6-for-12 on his way to 17 points and five rebounds. Levi Hroch also deserves some recognition as he scored his first points of the season.

Cypress Christian has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season. As for Fayetteville, their win was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-3.

Coming up, Cypress Christian will challenge Non Varsity Tournament Opponent at 12:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fayetteville, they will take on Lexington at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday.
