St. Joseph Academy extended their winning streak to eight on Friday, bumping them up to 8-0. They came out on top against the Oak Hall Eagles by a score of 26-17. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Flashes also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2024.

A big part of St. Joseph Academy's victory came down to the chemistry between Cody Ott and his top target Camden Coffindaffer. Ott rushed for 71 yards and one touchdown while Coffindaffer gained 135 total yards and three touchdowns.

St. Joseph Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Ollie Brynteson, Coffindaffer, Ott, and Asher Glisson picked up one apiece.

As for Oak Hall, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-3. The matchup marked their lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Despite the loss, Oak Hall still got an impressive performance from Darius Medley, who rushed for 106 yards and one score on only 11 carries. Medley's longest rush was for an impressive 67 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Joseph Academy will host Interlachen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Flashes will be up against the Rams' rather soft defense (which has allowed 30.44 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Oak Hall, they will be playing at home against North Florida Educational Institute at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
