Football Recap: James Jump's Menacing Defense Leads Bellevue Christian over Kingston

The Bellevue Christian Vikings strolled past the Kingston Buccaneers with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 21-6.

Isaiah Alvis went supernova, rushing for 82 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only eight carries, while also picking up 74 receiving yards.

Bellevue Christian didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut James Jump.

Bellevue Christian now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Kingston, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Bellevue Christian will face off against Vashon Island at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Kingston, they will square off against Cascade Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Buccaneers will need to watch out since the Cougars have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
