Fountain Valley won the last time they faced Sunny Hills and things went their way on Friday too. The Barons had just enough and edged out the Lancers 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Barons.

Fountain Valley was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (103-99), but they still managed to win. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-22, 13-25, 25-22, 15-9.

Fountain Valley's win bumped their record up to 20-8. As for Sunny Hills, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fountain Valley will square off against Los Alamitos at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Sunny Hills, they will challenge Canyon at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
