Volleyball Recap: Sutherland Takes a Loss

Sutherland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Hershey Panthers, falling 3-0. The Sailors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-19, 25-8.

Sutherland's loss dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Hershey, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-8.

Sutherland has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Kimball on the 10th. As for Hershey, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against St. Patrick's on the 11th.
