Basketball Recap: Newtown-Harris Has No Trouble Against Winston

After losing to Winston the last time they met, Newtown-Harris decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Newtown-Harris Tigers enjoyed a cozy 41-26 win over the Winston Red Birds on Friday.

Newtown-Harris has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.3 points over those games. As for Winston, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-14.

Newtown-Harris does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Winston, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 41-26 defeat against Grundy County/Newtown-Harris on the 7th.
