Volleyball Recap: Leetonia Comes Up Short

Leetonia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 22nd straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the East Palestine Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bears of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-4, 25-4.

Leetonia's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for East Palestine, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Leetonia will face off against rival David Anderson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, East Palestine is set to challenge their familiar foe Southern at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
