Football Recap: Geneva Takes a Loss

Geneva has relied on a stalwart defense averaging 10.33 points allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Monday. They came up short against the Finney Falcons, falling 34-14.

Geneva's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Finney, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-2-1 record this season.

Geneva does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Finney, they will square off against Canisteo-Greenwood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Chargers will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Falcons surely won't give up without a fight.
