Greenville kept a clean sheet against Easley on Thursday. They came out on top against the Green Wave by a score of 2-0. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Greenville's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked seventh, while Easley are ranked 44th).

Mackenzie Vetter and Emme Cook scored both of Greenville's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 14 goals.

Greenville is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those nine matches. As for Easley, they now have a losing record of 5-6.
