Recap: Encinal Jets vs. Mt. Eden Monarchs
The Encinal Jets''s eight-game losing streak came to an end on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Mt. Eden and snuck past 17-14. The victory was just what Encinal needed coming off of a 55-2 loss in their prior game.
The critical scores for Encinal came from Alexander Marston and Princeton Cadet.
One reason for the win was Encinal's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. Leading the way was Marco Garcia and his three sacks.
Encinal's win bumped their record up to 2-8. As for Mt. Eden, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road (dating back to last season), which bumped their record down to 0-10.
Encinal does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Mt. Eden also has no future games currently scheduled.
