Basketball Recap: Thaden Wins Going Away Against Haas Hall Academy

Thaden won the last time they faced Haas Hall Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Thaden Barnstormer enjoyed a cozy 63-45 win over the Haas Hall Academy Mastiff. The Barnstormer pushed the score to 61-29 by the end of the third, a deficit the Mastiff cut but never quite recovered from.

Haas Hall Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Max Weilert, who posted seven points along with seven boards and five assists. Another player making a difference was Ace Clardy, who earned 14 points and six rebounds.

Thaden's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Haas Hall Academy, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-21.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Thaden will challenge Providence Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for the Mastiff, they will square off against the Huskies at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
