Basketball Recap: Ben Graves' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Southern Missouri RUSH over Mt. Vernon

Southern Missouri RUSH has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 71-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mt. Vernon Mountaineers on Tuesday.

Southern Missouri RUSH lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Ben Graves, who shot 64% from the field to rack up 22 points and three blocks. He has also been stellar as far as shooting accuracy is concerned: he's posted one of at least 45% every time he's hit the court this season. Another player making a difference was Kellen Hathcock, who went 7-for-17 on his way to 18 points and seven assists.
