Baseball Recap: Windber Triumphs

While Windber's win against Berlin Brothersvalley wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Ramblers skirted past the Mountaineers 6-4. The victory continues a trend for the Ramblers in their matchups with the Mountaineers: they've now won eight in a row.

Dalton Strick was incredible, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. He has become a key player for Windber: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 7-8 otherwise. Lucas Rummel also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Windber now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Berlin Brothersvalley, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-9 record.

Looking ahead, Windber will head out on the road to face off against Northern Bedford County at 4:30 p.m. on the 16th. As for Berlin Brothersvalley, they will be playing at home against Claysburg-Kimmel at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
