Harwood has gone a perfect 3-0 against Lake Region recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Highlanders will look to defend their home pitch against the Rangers at 4:00 p.m. Harwood's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Harwood is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Vermont's top teams: Spaulding, who was ranked 24th at the time (Harwood was ranked 13th). The Highlanders and the Crimson Tide finished up their matchup with a 0-0 draw on Friday. The result (or lack thereof) marked Harwood's first draw of the season.

Meanwhile, Lake Region fought the good fight in their overtime contest against U-32 on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 3-2. Lake Region have struggled against U-32 recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Harwood's draw gives them a new season record of 5-3-1. As for Lake Region, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4-1.

Harwood took their victory against Lake Region when the teams last played back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 6-0 score. Will the Highlanders repeat their success, or do the Rangers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
