Soccer Game Preview: Chariho vs. Tiverton

The Chariho Chargers will square off against the Tiverton Tigers on Tuesday.

Chariho heads in on the heels of a playoff contest on Saturday. They and Coventry finished up their match with a 1-1 draw. Chariho's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Tiverton faced Scituate in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Tigers had just enough and edged out the Spartans 3-2. Tiverton better thank their lucky stars for the performance of NolaN Oliveira, as he scored every single goal for his team.

Tiverton now has a winning record of 9-8-2. Chariho's draw makes their record 10-8-3 this season.

Chariho took their victory against Tiverton in their previous meeting back in October by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Chargers since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
