Baseball Recap: Tiverton Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Rogers, Tiverton was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Juanita Sanchez Complex Cavaliers by a score of 9-4. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cavaliers, too.

The team relied heavily on Brody Travers, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and three runs. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. John Faria also deserves some recognition as he got his first hits of the season.

Tiverton's record now sits at 4-5. As for Juanita Sanchez Complex, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Juanita Sanchez Complex has already played their next contest, a 22-1 win against Classical on the 18th. Hopefully Tiverton paid attention to the Cavaliers' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Cavaliers at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
