Baseball Recap: Skyline Comes Up Short

Skyline was the 15-0 winner over Central when they last played one another back in April of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Skyline saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Logan Moppin, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Skyline's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Central, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-6.

Looking ahead, Skyline will head out to square off against Marionville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Central has already played their next matchup (against Sparta), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
