 Padua Franciscan has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will  challenge the Gilmour Academy Lancers at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Padua Franciscan is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 8.9  runs per game  this season.
 On Monday, Padua Franciscan beat Beaumont School 7-4. That's two games straight that Padua Franciscan has won by  exactly three  runs.
  Julia Ezzie and  Brae Boguski did most of the damage at the plate:  Ezzie  went 2-for-3 with four  RBI, a  run,  and a  double, while  Boguski  went 2-for-3 with a  triple, two  RBI,  and a  run. Boguski has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  triple the last three times she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Ella Polomsky, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-4.
 Meanwhile, Gilmour Academy stacked  a  sixth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. Everything went their way against North as Gilmour Academy made off with  a  9-2 win. Winning may never get old, but Gilmour Academy sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
  Camden Dreiling spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned  (and one unearned) run on seven hits.
 At the plate,  Lauren Riccobelli was  incredible,  going 4-for-4 with a  home run, three  RBI,  and a  double.  Ava Gundling was another key contributor,  going 2-for-4 with a  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI.
 Padua Franciscan is  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last eight contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record  this season. As for Gilmour Academy, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with that  victory, which was their eighth straight  at home dating back to last season.
 Tuesday's   game will be a test for both team's pitchers. Padua Franciscan hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .340. However, it's not like Gilmour Academy struggles in that department as   they've  averaged .456. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
