It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Harbor Teacher ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They skirted past the Fremont Pathfinders 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Monarchs have posted since April 28, 2025.

Harbor Teacher's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Michael Nevarez, who went 1-for-4 with one run.

Harbor Teacher now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Fremont, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-4.

Looking ahead, Harbor Teacher is taking a road trip to square off against Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fremont, they will be taking part in a tournament against Marquez at 1:00 p.m. on Monday.
