Soccer Game Preview: Summit Charter vs. Tri-County

The Summit Charter Bears will head out to challenge the Tri-County Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Summit Charter will be strutting in after a win while Tri-County will be coming in after a loss.

Summit Charter's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 4-0 margin over Hayesville. The result was nothing new for Summit Charter, who have now won three matchups by four goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Tri-County's offense. They came up short against Highlands on Monday, falling 4-0. The defeat continues a trend for Tri-County in their meetings with Highlands: they've now lost seven in a row.

The victory made it two in a row for Summit Charter and bumps their season record up to 5-3. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two contests. As for Tri-County, their loss dropped their record down to 0-9-1.

Summit Charter beat Tri-County 3-1 in their previous matchup back in September of 2024. Do the Bears have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Jaguars turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
