Barnwell scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 73-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bridges Prep Buccaneers. The loss leaves the Warhorses without a win on the season.

Bridges Prep had a senior duo take command as A Wilson dropped a double-double on 28 points and 17 boards and Q Young dropped a triple-double on 27 points, ten rebounds, and ten assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wilson has scored all season. PJ Capers was another key player, putting up nine points and eight rebounds.

Barnwell's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Bridges Prep, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Barnwell will venture away from home to take on Hampton County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hampton County will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Barnwell surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bridges Prep, they will face off against Edisto at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bridges Prep knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Edisto likes a good challenge.
