Volleyball Recap: Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology Takes a Loss

After flying high against Valor Academy on Thursday, Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology came back down to earth. The Griffins came up short against the Sun Valley Magnet Pioneers on Monday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pioneers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

While Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Sun Valley Magnet's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-16, 25-20.

Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology's defeat was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Sun Valley Magnet, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-10.
