Volleyball Recap: Hanover Hawks vs. Medway Mustangs

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Hanover had no problem doing just that on Friday. They came out on top against the Medway Mustangs by a score of 3-1. Winning may never get old, but the Hawks sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Hanover found their leader in freshman Emma Hersey, who had eight digs and two aces. Hersey has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last five times she's played.

Hanover was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in 15 consecutive matchups.
