Volleyball Recap: Lincoln Park Academy Comes Up Short

The Lincoln Park Academy Greyhounds lost 3-0 to the Legacy Lions on Thursday.

Lincoln Park Academy was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-23, 25-14.

Meredith Prince was nothing short of spectacular for Legacy: she had eight digs and four aces. Paisley Woods was another key player, getting eight digs and three aces.

Lincoln Park Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Lincoln Park Academy will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against St. Edward's at 6:00 p.m. As for Legacy, they will venture away from home to face off against Martin County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
