Volleyball Recap: Veterans Memorial Takes a Loss

Veterans Memorial was the 2-1 winner over Medina Valley when they last played one another on Friday, but their luck changed this time around. The Patriots fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Peyton Simpson paced Veterans Memorial's offense, picking up ten kills. Simpson got some help from Gia Moscot and her 12 assists. Simpson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Veterans Memorial now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Medina Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 3-4.

Veterans Memorial wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Smithson Valley on the 19th. As for Medina Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Southwest on the 19th.
