Recap: Wilsonville Wildcats vs. Hillsboro Spartans
The Wilsonville Wildcats stacked a seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Saturday. They blew past Hillsboro, posting a 66-24 victory on the road. Winning may never get old, but Wilsonville sure is getting used to it with their ninth in a row.
Audrey Counts continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 19 points along with eight steals and six rebounds. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times she's played. Gabi Moultrie was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and ten assists.
Wilsonville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. As for Hillsboro, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-11.
Wilsonville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 86-16 win vs. Hood River Valley on the 12th. Hillsboro will head out on the road to square off against Wilsonville at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Wilsonville is coming into the match with nine straight wins at home, so Hillsboro is out to stop a team with plenty of momentum.
