Football Recap: Cottonwood Colts vs. Murray Spartans
Cottonwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They were dealt a 58-20 loss at the hands of the Murray Spartans. One positive for the Colts, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.
Sam Pehrson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Murray, rushing for 204 yards and three touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Conner Whitehead, who rushed for 70 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries.
Cottonwood's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Murray, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.
