Volleyball Recap: Morrison's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Morrison can bid farewell to their four-match losing streak thanks to their match on Thursday. They came out on top against the Ashton-Franklin Center Raiders by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

Morrison not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Ashton-Franklin Center between 17 and 18 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-18.

Elle Milnes paced Morrison's offense, picking up nine kills. Milnes got some help from Bricelyn Osborn and her 11 assists. Osborn was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Morrison's win bumped their record up to 11-13-2. As for Ashton-Franklin Center, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.
