Volleyball Recap: Goleman Falls Short Against Ranked Southwest

Goleman faced Southwest in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. Goleman fell 2-0 to Southwest. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on March 4th.

Goleman has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season. The win (which was Southwest's third in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Goleman has already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Varela on the 21st. As for Southwest, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Reagan on the 21st.
