Football Recap: Mitchell Drops Season-High Score on Lincoln

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mitchell). They snuck past the Lincoln Lancers with a 12-8 win on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Marauders, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Mitchell's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for Lincoln, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Coming up, Mitchell will host The Classical Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Marauders will need to watch out since the Titans have now posted at least 31 points in their last three games. As for Lincoln, they will head out to challenge Alameda at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Lancers will be up against the Pirates' rather soft defense (which has allowed 32.63 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
