After a string of nine wins, First Colonial's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ocean Lakes Dolphins. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dolphins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-1 back in March.

First Colonial's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Ocean Lakes, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

First Colonial didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 13-0 win against Cape Henry Collegiate on the 5th. As for Ocean Lakes, they will challenge Kellam at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Dolphins have won three straight at home, while the Knights won seven straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
