Basketball Game Preview: Ayala Bulldogs vs. Mark Keppel Aztecs

The Ayala Bulldogs will be taking part in a tournament against the Mark Keppel Aztecs at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Ayala knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 contests -- so hopefully Mark Keppel likes a good challenge.

Ayala is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Glendora just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell to the Tartans 72-66.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Mark Keppel, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They managed a 70-65 victory over South Hills on Thursday. Given the Aztecs' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 211th, while the Huskies are ranked 852nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Mark Keppel pushed their record up to 9-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Ayala, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-3.
