Volleyball Recap: Richardson Comes Up Short

If Richardson was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Trinity on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles came up short against the North Forney Falcons on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2022.

While Richardson was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into North Forney's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-16, 25-22.

Richardson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for North Forney, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Richardson will be taking part in a tournament against Randall on Thursday. As for North Forney, they will square off against Pearce at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
