The St. Francis Mariners will head out to take on the Kingdom Prep Lutheran Wolfpack at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. St. Francis is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 66.5 points per game this season.

Last Thursday, St. Francis came up short against Brookfield Academy and fell 84-72. The loss continues a trend for the Mariners in their matchups with the Blue Knights: they've now lost seven in a row.

St. Francis might have lost, but man, Cameron Nerby was a machine: he dropped a double-double with 29 points and ten rebounds. What's more, Nerby also posted a 67% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Josh Green, who went 6-for-15 en route to 17 points and four steals.

Meanwhile, Kingdom Prep Lutheran played a tough game on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt an 86-47 defeat at the hands of Lake Country Lutheran. The Wolfpack were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-21.

Kingdom Prep Lutheran has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.5 points over those games. St. Francis' loss dropped their record down to 10-12.

St. Francis took their win against Kingdom Prep Lutheran in their previous meeting back in January by a conclusive 93-68. The rematch might be a little tougher for St. Francis since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
