Softball Recap: Colony Takes Down Bettye Davis East Anchorage in a Playoff Battle

Colony had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They were the clear victors by a 15-7 margin over the Bettye Davis East Anchorage Thunderbirds on Thursday. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 24 matchups by six runs or more this season.

Saibree Noll was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Alesha Crowther, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run.

Colony is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 32-8-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.7 runs over those games. As for Bettye Davis East Anchorage, they moved to 19-3 with that loss, which also ended their eight-game winning streak.
