Volleyball Recap: Harmony Beats Tohopekaliga for Their Third Straight Win

Harmony had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came out on top against the Tohopekaliga Tigers by a score of 3-1. That's more bragging rights for the Longhorns, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Harmony had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-19, 25-13, 25-17.

Oliver Benken paced Harmony's offense, picking up 15 kills. Benken got some help from Jameson Benken and his 26 assists. Jameson was also solid from the service line: he led the team with five aces.

Harmony's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-5. As for Tohopekaliga, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

Harmony will head out to challenge Gateway at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Harmony is facing Gateway at the right time seeing as Gateway is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Tohopekaliga, they will welcome Innovation at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
