Soccer Game Preview: Lemon Bay vs. Estero

The Lemon Bay Manta Rays will venture away from home to challenge the Estero Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Lemon Bay's favor is that they have posted at least four goals in their last six matchups.

Lemon Bay is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They blew past Robinson 5-1. Considering the Manta Rays have won 11 contests by more than three goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Estero entered their tilt with Barron Collier on Friday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 4-2. Four seems to be a good number for the Wildcats as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of goals in their previous game.

They hit Barron Collier with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Lily Jason (2), Kellyn Rivas, and Kaitlyn Mancini.

Lemon Bay has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up four goals over those nine matchups. As for Estero, they pushed their record up to 15-3-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.
