Vigor is 4-0 against Citronelle since January of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Vigor Wolves will head out to square off against the Citronelle Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Tuesday, Vigor was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 62-61 to Davidson. While losing is never fun, the Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 264th, while the Warriors are ranked 77th).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Citronelle, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They blew past St. Luke's Episcopal, posting a 60-19 victory. Citronelle has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 23 points or more this season.

Citronelle pushed their record up to 5-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 37 points. As for Vigor, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-6.

Everything came up roses for Vigor against Citronelle in their previous meeting back in January, as the team secured an 83-54 victory. Does Vigor have another victory up their sleeve, or will Citronelle turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
