Recap: Austin Panthers vs. Mountain View Lobos
The Austin Panthers lost against the Mountain View Lobos back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Austin was dealt a 45-18 loss at the hands of Mountain View. Austin has not had much luck with Mountain View recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Among those leading the charge was Jisell Huizar, who scored 15 points along with 4 steals. The match was her third in a row with at least ten points. Breann Martinez was another key contributor, scoring 7 points along with 6 rebounds.
Austin has not been sharp recently, as they've lost ten of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Mountain View, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-6.
Austin will look to defend their home court on Friday against Fabens at 7:30 p.m. Fabens is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Mountain View, they will head out on the road to face off against Ysleta at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
