Trinity Christian Academy put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the North Marion Colts. The Conquerors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Colts, too.

Brennan Bachtell Jr looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

On the hitting side, Gage Petrutz was excellent, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.

Trinity Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for North Marion, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity Christian Academy will challenge Ponte Vedra at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Marion, they will face off against Buchholz at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. North Marion's pitching crew has only allowed 1.8 runs per game this season, so Buchholz's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
