Basketball Recap: Parker Murry Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Lamoille

Indian Creek won the last time they faced LaMoille and things went their way on Friday too. The Timberwolves put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 56-36 win. The Timberwolves pushed the score to 47-25 by the end of the third, a deficit the Lions cut but never quite recovered from.

Indian Creek's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Parker Murry, who went 8-for-16 en route to 16 points in addition to five boards and five steals. The dominant performance also gave Murry a new career-high in assists (three). Isaac Willis was another key player, dropping a double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds.

Indian Creek smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive boards every time they've taken the court this season.

Indian Creek now has a winning record of 2-1. As for LaMoille, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Indian Creek wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 60-40 loss against Scales Mound on the 6th. As for LaMoille, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Henry-Senachwine at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
