While Washington put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for St. Aloysius. The Generals really took it to the Flashes for the full four quarters, racking up a 40-0 victory. That looming 40-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Generals yet this season.

It was another big night for Max Morgan, who rushed for 121 yards and one score on only 14 carries.

Special teams also deserves some recognition, posting 16 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Reid Henderson, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

Another reason for the win was Washington's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: William (JR) Lewis, Alexander Robertson, and Wilson Byars, who each picked up one sack apiece. Another thorn in St. Aloysius' side was Lewis, who picked up a sack and made nine total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Washington pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 41.3 points over those games. As for St. Aloysius, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.

Washington wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 38-15 win against St. Joseph on the 17th. As for St. Aloysius, they have also already played their next contest, a 42-20 defeat against Adams County Christian on the 17th.
